This was my third knee procedure - the first with Dr. Peatman. It was far and away more superior to the other two (also it's likely that things have changed a lot n 15 years). I would highly recommend him.

Dr Peatman listens to his patients needs. I needed a bedside commode due to my urgency. He had not had to do this before but he listened to me. I really appreciate that he is not only an excellent surgeon but a compassionate one. Thank you Dr Peatman

Dr. Peatman is an exceptional doctor with a good organization behind him. I was assisted every step of the way and all concerns were addressed. My hip replacement recovery is ahead of schedule and I would reccommend to anyone if they have a condition, to get the procedure done sooner than later.

He is an excellent, knowledgeable surgeon, and im glad he did my knee replacement surgery. His pa Brian is excellent. But to communicate with him or his staff outside an office visit is very difficult.. I do not find Brittany, his assistant very helpful at all.

From the first time I walked into his office I have been pleased with the care received. Starting with the clerical staff, scheduling an appointment, Brittany his PCA, Brian and Abereen his PAs. All are well informed, courteous, responsive and return phone calls. Dr. Peatman himself is kind, listens to your concerns and has good bedside manner. Once it was decided that I needed surgery, my prep and follow up were very good. It was a good experience at a difficult time.

I would highly recommend Dr. Peatman. He’s an exceptional orthopedic surgeon. I appreciate his listening skills, his sense of humor and his calming demeanor. I caught a big break when my worker’s comp attorney referred him to me!

I have a worker compression claim and anyone who has been here knows it's not a easy task. I worked with another surgeon for about 6 months and he said he doesn't like these claims because it too much work. (Forget about my needs). Dr. Peatman took my claim and got it approved and completed my surgery with everything I needed. Afterwards, he & his staff have been in constant contact with me throughout my recovery.

A really positive experience from all members of the team. I definitely made the right decision to have miniscus repair and clean up of knee joint via arthroscopy. Within a few days I could walk downstairs easily and I was lucky enough not to need any pain meds.

I am extremely happy with Dr. Peatman and the entire staff at the Oakland location and the Pleasanton Surgery Center. Patient, kind, reassuring, gifted in matters technical and emotional, he shaped the entire experience of diagnosis, surgery and rehabilitation of my ACL in my knee in ways that exceeded my hopes.

I am in awe of how perfectly the hip replacement operation went, and about how accurate Dr. Peatman was in describing the recovery process and timing. He and his stall are friendly and efficient and caring, and the doctor himself is a superb surgeon. Ten days after the operation I was walking without support and out of pain, able to live a normal life.

I met Dr. Peatman when he treated me for a broken wrist. He's very personable, respectful, knowledgable, and explains things very well. It feels like you can ask him anything. His office staff is also excellent with efficient check-in and followup. Having been impressed with my wrist treatment, I asked him about treating an old meniscus injury. After reviewing my MRI, he let me know he believed he could improve my knee problem. I have had the surgery and my knee is much improved.

Dr. Peatman inspired confidence in his ability to do an excellent job with my hip surgery and he lived up to that confidence. I am walking unaided after two weeks.

Professional yet personable. He listens and explains thoroughly, giving risks, benefits, and alternatives. Dr. Peatman is part of a large group so if you're expecting to see him on every visit you won't. That being said one mark of an excellent clinician is to surround yourself with excellent people to assist in giving you great care. I found that with his practice, specifically in his PA Brian Costello. Dr Peatman has an excellent team and I would (and have) highly recommend him.
