Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Pearson "I have over 20 years of clinical experience in neurology and sleep disorders medicine both in group and private practice settings. I have been a patient, and appreciate both sides of the fence the uncertainty that neurologic disease can cause. In the almost 20 years that I have provided solo neurology care in rural Pennsylvania where there was no other neurologist, I tried to function as if there were six people across the street who could do exactly the same job as I do, only better. I am proficient in neurologic diagnostic testing including EEG or Electroencephalography, EMG or electromyography and nerve conduction testing, and all forms of hospital-based and portable PSG or polysomnography (sleep testing). I am comfortable with diagnosis and management of all forms of general neurologic disease and I am equally comfortable recommending a subspecialty opinion for patients when that is the proper cause."
