I was evaluated for rotator cuff pain and only an injection was warranted. However, I had other symptoms and Dr. Murray referred me to a rheumatologist. It turned out that my response to the injection resulted in a total remission of my other symptoms as well as my shoulder. The rheumatologist recognized my previously undiagnosed condition from the remission history and I am now being treated successfully for that condition. Dr. Murray's insight and prompt referral to an appropriate specialist got my diagnosis and treatment on track. He also took the time to discuss alternatives that I was pursuing and to guide my actions more appropriately while respecting my decisions. His level of communication and guidance are second to none that I have experienced.

Dr. Thomas Murray Jr. Is great. In less than 4 months I went from being in horrific pain and weak to no pain and doing carpentry again. I'm better know than before my automobile accident. Dr. Murray may you live forever. P.S. I'm also playing ball now with my family.

Had meniscus surgery in May 2018. Dr. Murray and staff were professional, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. Despite being a sizable facility that performs multiple surgical procedures daily, I received the personal attention I would expect from a reputable provider. Very satisfied with the outcome of the surgery, quick recovery and the communication with Dr Murray and his surgical staff. Highly recommend.

Dr. Murray was respectful, professional and made me feel very comfortable. I had rotator cuff surgery with great success. I am now in the midst if physical therapy and feel the best I have felt since September, 2017. Highly recommend Dr. Murray.

Astonishingly arrogant, even for a surgeon. Examined my knee without even touching it. Amazing! Told me I needed surgery. 8 months later, after PT and getting back into shape, my knee is fine, as in just fine-- without surgery. It was easy to get an appointment because they have a big chop shop in Portland, with 4 wings. But, be careful or you'll potentially find yourself having surgery that you don't need. Negligent. Absolutely negligent.

I recently had shoulder surgery with Dr. Murray. I had ignored his initial suggestion for surgery almost three years ago, thinking I wanted to try to heal myself. Really I was afraid of the recovery process. When I went back to Dr. Murray in more pain than I started, I realized he was right. He assured me that I would feel BETTER from the moment I got out of surgery...and he was right. It was such a relief and my recovery has been much easier than I expected. I have no regrets!

Dr. Murray repaired my torn rotator cuff. He was great at explaining things before and after surgery. I wanted to make sure the issue I was having was not actually a deltoid tear, as I was feeling pain down my deltoid. He explained the reason why that pain was actually coming from the torn rotator cuff. I was also amazed that he made notes on the pictures from the actual surgery that he gave to me, so that I would know what I was looking at. I'm 3 months out and doing great.
