DR. MCMInn is an excellent doctor who takes time to explain to you any questions and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Austin, TX |
After tests revealed a problem, I had the heart catheterization procedure which was performed by Dr. McMinn. Prior to the procedure, Dr. McMinn came by my room to explain what he would be doing and to answer my questions. During the procedure, he determined that there was a blockage and he cleared it by inserting stents. It was pain free and took about 2 hours. He enjoys his work, educating his patients, and is very personable. I was very fortunate to have he and his team work on me. Thank you.

As a new patient I was very happy that Dr. McMinn took plenty of time to go over all my concerns and make sure he had answered all my questions. I believe he truly cares for each patient as a person not just a patient.
Austin, TX |
Dr McMinn has been my primary cardiologist since I moved to Austin in 2005. I have always and consistently found him thoughtful, caring, efficient and thorough. He has never spoken down to me, but he has been quite patient whenever I do have questions.

We're very impressed with his manner and explanations.
Austin, TX |
Dr. McMinn was most thorough and explained my condition in a manner that I could understand. All of my questions are addressed. He is most cordial and professional.
in Austin, TX |
I saw Dr McMinn to discuss a pseudo aneurysm to my aorta. He spent extra time and effort to describe what may be happening and what options I have. He set up tests to glean immediate feedback on the status of my aorta. I appreciate his concern and left his office feeling confident that I have an exceptional team of doctors to get me through this.
Round Rock, TX |
I just recently transitioned to Dr McMinn after my previous cardiologist took a leave of absence. I was with that cardiologist for 15 years. I had one previous interaction with Dr McMinn 7 years ago whenhe placed a stent. So I have had exactly one person to person visit with Dr McMinn since he became my primary cardiologist. My bar is quite high, and he passed with a "A." I'm happy with my one on one time with him. He was focused and personable. He clearly gave me all the time I wanted.

Easy to talk to and has been positive in all our appointments
in Austin, TX |
I especially like the fact Dr. McMinn is very easy to talk to. He is always friendly and thorough in his review of my records and test results. He always encourages me to ask questions so our discussions are never one-sided. I feel his genuine concern for his patients.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. McMinn for many years. We feel safe in his care; we drive almost two hours for our appointments. While we could go to other cardiologists closer to our home, we just feel as if we are "home" with his practice. The support group in his office are excellent and compassionate people also.
in Cedar Park, TX |
I have been a patience of Dr. McMinn for many years and he is one of the finest doctors I have ever met. He has one of the friendliest staffs I have been associated with. I am glad they are hear.
in Elgin, TX |
I have recommended Dr. McMinn many, many times to people that have needed a heart doctor. He is always very thorough in his examination of his patients and cares about them. Very kind and considerate to everyone. He has been my doctor for 15 years and I think he is the best. I even made him a special Heart Hospital of Austin clock to hang in his office. I trust his judgement on my care and would not even consider another heart doctor. Vince Dungan

I write this review with the greatest amount of respect for all that Dr. McMinn did for me. He is incredibly patient-focused, as well as 100% invested in listening to his patients and making sure that questions are addressed and resptfully responded to. I am a healthier mom, wife and professional due to Dr. McMinn's skill and care.
