He was personable; however, my appointment was at 1030am and I did not get called back until 1105am and I did not see the doctor until 1150am. I appreciated that he took the time to explain my condition and options for treatment that day and options for if today's treatment did not work. I liked that when I left I knew what to expect and what would happen if it does not work as planned.

I believe Dr. McDermott is thorough and communicates well. Third finger surgery pending on fingers operated on previously. This is discouraging.

Dr. McDermott did surgery on my right hand and you can’t even tell... getting ready for left hand... I recommend him for you hand surgery! He is the best. He takes time with you and has good “bedside manners”. If you want to use your hand again... he is the man!

I saw Dr. McDermott for a wrist fracture and also had a tendon release surgery. He and his office staff were very professional and thorough with their treatment. He was always willing to adress any of my questions or concerns. His PA Rebecca was great too... friendly and knowledgeable! Would definitely recommend!

I have been seeing Dr McDermott for many years and I will NOT see anyone else. I have one arm so he is very conscientious in the way he treats my remaining arm. I’ve had several surgeries, which were very successful for the issue at hand. I’m looking at another surgery within the next 2 months and I trust his expertise in decision making and surgical skill wholeheartedly.

Dr. McDermott has taken great interest in me and getting mobility back in my right hand after I suffered a serious injury. I am fortunate to have had Dr. McDermott on call the day the injury happened as I know I ended up with the best hand doctor and best staff.

Dr McDermott is terrible. I had recently re injured my wrist that I've had a previous surgery on. The MRI wasn't clear but it showed there was a definite injury to it. Of course I get pushed to occupational therapy. Brian in OT is great but the rest of them have no clue what they are doing. After OT and medicine he just blew me off and said there was nothing else he could do although I can barely use my arm. No surgery no other help just said he can't do anything else. Save your money.
