Disappointed-Dr. Mattio assessed me without even allowing me to schedule an appt with him and actually see him and without any evaluation has deemed that I have no permanent deficits from stroke despite being a former marathoner using a motorized scooter for Disney World. Just another example of doctor vs patient-centered care. If he only would have seen me, he would know I don't even need tests/eval, merely long term following on meds that are already working. Sad, I heard he was different

I have been a patient of Dr Mattios for over 20 years. He has always been very thorough and caring. He explains everything in a very good way. He seems to even think about me and my care when I'm not even in his office. I know he wants the best for me. I would highly recommend Dr Mattio to anyone.

He has been amazing with my care! He listens to me and takes my concerns seriously when other providers have not. I cannot thank him enough for the time that he gives me with treating the MS and my other symptoms. I am so grateful to my primary MD (Dr. Faudree) referring me to Dr. Mattio in 2004!
