Dr. Mann's treatment philosophy is "to educate the patient, help them understand their problem, and equip them to manage their injury." Dr. Mann states, "Sometimes this requires surgery and/or the aid of a skilled physical therapist."
Dr. Mann's area of specialization includes arthroscopic surgery, knee and shoulder reconstruction, including ACL and rotator cuff repair, as well as managing athletes through injuries and their return to training and competition. Other areas of interest include fracture care and pediatric injuries. Dr. Mann says that he has been significantly influenced by his father who was also a physician and medical missionary in India for 10 years, where Dr. Mann spent part of his childhood. His own medical missions' service has included practicing pediatric orthopedics in Honduras.
