This doctor is beyond amazing. I can't recall the number of times that he has gone out of his way and done something for me that NO OTHER DOCTOR would do; such as call a pharmacist on a Sunday morning, pick up the phone on thanksgiving day, answer his own office phone, verify a prescription for a fearful pharmacist, I could go on but do I really need to? This level of doctor/patient relationship just doesn't exist, anywhere, except from Dr Lucas. It doesn't make sense in this day and age that anyone would be as "good" of a human being as this guy is. A++++++++ I wish I could make him my primary care.

I am an almost decade old patient. Of all the doctors I have seen over almost 40 years of serious issues, Dr. Lucas is the most informed, most caring, most trustworthy psychiatrist I have ever come across. I would not trade him or his staff for the world.

I give Dr. Lucas 5 stars because he has really helped my son and myself. My only negative is about his staff. They do not return desperate calls, even on refills.Right now my son is out of his anti-depressant because he says DrLucas told him to take 4 pills a day but only had a 30 day supply. He has called and called at least 8 calls so far and no one is calling back nor refilling. He was to see DrLucas today, but he got a call Mon that DrLucas wife was sick and needed to cancel. What to do? No meds

I have been to many psychiatrists and he is the best. I have never encountered one who genuinely cares about their patients. He is even available 24/7 for emergencies. I have absolutely no complaints about him and I've been a patient of his for over 7 years.

Dr. Lucas literally saved my life. No other psychatriat even knew what to do for me. He's the only in 15 years to actually help me. The only one who never gave up on a previously hopeless case. He told me he'd never give up on me, and he never has.

This man is poisoning my brother with meds and has been for over 5 years. I have begged my brother to quit seeing him but he keeps going back to be prescribed anxiety and sleeping meds one on top of the other. My brother is now a full blown addict who has lost his family, his job, his friends. He just spent 3 months in jail... was released and immediately started the clomazapan again... just to be dazed and confused ... high and hallucinating. I wish i knew how to stop this.

It just amazes me that when you call and leave a message regarding appointments, medication refills, etc. NO ONE ever calls you back and NO ONE ever answers the phone. They don't even answer the emails or faxes. His staff needs to get on board with managing his clients better and put people in there that are willing to assist you. They just seem to ignore your telephone messages. How can a company operate like this? It should not be so hard to get a return phone call.
