Dr. Klein is and awesome orthopedic surgeon! I have been a patient of his for many years. He is very polite and personable! Very through in his work and diagnostic. Dr Klein has repaired my rotator cuff, elbow, total knee replacement and just recently a bicep tear. Hands down, I would recommended Dr. Klein to anyone. You could not asked for a better person to trust with your health care.

I just had Knee Replacement surgery six weeks ago. I just had my second Post Op appt. I'm doing 'Great', and Dr Klein was beyond compassionate and caring during all of my Pre Op appts and surgical Post Op.I traveled 90 minutes to go to him and it was SO well worth it !!! My husband had both his knees done elsewhere, and the 2nd surgery didn't go well, so I was determined to find a 'Good' Ortho, and Dr Klein was 'Highly' recommended to me.I received 'Excellent' care at Reston Hospital. The Staff was more than compassionate and caring to me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Klein’s for years and have received outstanding care for arthritic knees and bursitis in my hips. As time went on it became clear that I would need knee replacement surgery. I did not hesitate to let Dr. Klein perform the surgery. I am completely happy and satisfied with my results. I am entering my 6th week of recovery and what is most remarkable is that I am exactly where I need to be in the healing process, just exactly where he said I would be. He is a brilliant surgeon and I would not hesitate for a second in recommending him for any of the surgeries he performs. He and his staff provided me with outstanding service. I had absolutely no complications and my care at Reston Hospital was likewise outstanding I also very highly recommend his PT staff. They are an exceptional staff. My PT was Allison MacArthur and like Dr. Klein, I can not recommend her highly enough. I am grateful and I am pain free! Look no further if you are facing replacement surgery!

Dr. Klein is excellent and definitely is a thorough and knowledgeable surgeon on the area of orthopedics. He has performed two surgical procedures on me and to this day I’ve had no complaints and would highly recommend him. I value his medical skills and expertise as an orthopedist.

So interesting the varied feedback; I just came from my initial consultation for hip surgery after being referred by my back surgeon (same pratice). Have osteoarthritis which resulted in L4/L5 fusion 20 months ago. I was quite frankly AMAZED at the amount of time he took to discuss his approach /details to the surgery -- honestly think it was at least 15 mins if not more. All my questions answered. Had 8am appointment, in and out. No delay

Love this doctor! To some new patients he may appear harsh. Having worked as a ER trauma and ICU nurse for many years and working with the differing personalities of physicians, I can say the best physicians are those who will be honest about what is wrong, what you need to do and the risks if you do not comply. Often, patients do not want to hear this. Dr. Klein listens, explains and works very hard to give the absolute best care possible. Even when he insists you will have do to assist.

Not impressed. Poor bedside manner. Spends little time with you. Saw twice and acted as though I was wasting his time.

I dislocated my shoulder and tore the rotator cuff from a fall. Dr. Klein performed a rotator cuff repair surgery. He is very informative, described the surgery, its pros and cons and gave me the time to make a decision about it. He even told me although he was confident he could repair it, he also told me that there is a possibility that it will not work. He is easy to talk to, open to any discussion related to the condition he is treating. He is a great doctor and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Klein performed a double knee replacement on me. He is clearly a very knowledgable and skilled doctor. He was friendly with an engaging personality. With respect to my condition and surgery, he was matter of fact but listened carefully to my questions and concerns and was very responsive throughout the entire process. The surgery was a nearly flawless process. His masterful work plus PT at OrthoVA (Jennifer White) had me back to work in 6 weeks and fully released in about 8 weeks.

I definitely would recommend Dr. Klein. Originally saw him for a rotator cuff issue after previous Doctor did not help. Then I had to have surgery on a meniscus tear. He took the time to explain the procedure and more importantly listen to my concerns. The whole staff was very professional. Definitely a five plus star Doctor.

I saw several surgeons before deciding to have Dr. Klein perform my total right hip replacement. He was incredibly informative, patient and direct. Most importantly the procedure and recovery were both better than he had indicated pre-surgery. I am now 10 weeks post surgery and most days I forget that I have a new hip. I am walking nearly without a limp and almost entirely pain free. I would highly recommend Dr. Klein.

Dr. Klein ended up NOT doing surgery on me. He easily could have told me I needed it. He suggested I wait to see whether my injury could heal itself. He gave me a 50/50 chance of needing it. He later recommended that I not pursue. Completely trust his judgement as he was not pushing his services on me. Also have several friends who did have surgery with him, all highly complementary of his skills.
