After seeing him for 20 years, he took me off meds he prescribed, suggested interim meds, but would not prescribe them. Then how am I supposed to get them? Really?! He is useless. Rude, disrespectful to patients. Call to leave him a message, you're lucky if you hear back in a week. that is rude. He has no guts, no patients deserve to be treated like this. But they are sure willing to take enough of my $$$, wow what a fool I was.

Unlike others here, I have been seeing Dr. Jacques for over 10 years for a seizure disorder and migraine. I have always found him concerned, if a little rushed (over-booked by the clinic?). Not only would I recommend him as a neurologist, but I have.

My experience was the exact same as the other reviews on here. Dr. Jacques was rude, dismissive, condescending and interrupted me the whole time. Had the nerve to accuse me of getting extra medicine from another doctor! Totally set on one Migraine regimen. Personally offended that the daily preventative med did not work for me, would not prescribe anything else. Basically punished me for not taking that particular medication & would not prescribe any more than 9 Maxalt per month. Complete jerk!

Was seeing Dr Jacques for migraines. He is pretty set in his treatment protocol and pretty much doesn't care about my particular situation. He seemed annoyed that I didn't respond well to the first things he tried, and was unwilling alter his approach. It was a simple, if you have this problem, then take this drug. If things aren't working out and you call him he requires a face to face to deal with any problems, and appointments are months out.

Rude, dismissive, mocked the patient, talked down to the patient's family, would not let us finish our sentence or let us ask questions. Walked away from family while we were asking questions.

I only met this Dr. and am hoping for a better experience second visit. Mine mirrored the 1/28/16 poster who said dismissive, felt demeaned, talked over, not listened to. Needless to say, not helpful. Had serious symptom, scheduled me for standard follow up - 3 months out with 2 tests before - no deadline on. I was told by retiring Dr at this site to find somewhere else, he offered no confidence vote. Meds underprescribed - no refill. Asked him to note history - he ignored me. Underserved.

Never even got to see the doctor today because they said we had cancelled the appointment. This was not true. Then they said they couldn't see my mom because the doctor was double booked. Then they told my mom that the person who does the EEG wasnt in today. WHAT??? We had made this appointment weeks ago. My mother has dementia. This is a time sensitive situation. Each day, week that goes by, my mother slips away a little bit more. We will NEVER go back and I hope nobody else does either

Terrible experience. Had an appt scheduled 7 weeks in advance. Dr was "double booked" and EEG tech needed not in. No call to tell us this. Took the day off to take my 83 year old mother to the appt. Dr. wouldn't even talk to us! Reschedule?? He's going on vacation starting tomorrow. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all. Sent his secretary out to talk to us. He didn't even have the professionalism to come out and apologize. How arrogant can you be? No thanks, we're going else where. Can't be any worse!

Adversarial and accusatory from the moment he walked in, repeatedly interrupted me before I could even complete a sentence, engaged in patient blaming, was insulting, and demeaning. Spent no time listening or asking questions was only abusive, provided no help. Don't waste your time.

Less that 15 minutes of patient blaming, not listening, not helpful, emotionally abusive, and appointment ended.
