Ridgewood, NJ |
With no doubt, Dr. Guy is probably one of the best minimally invasive cardiothoracic surgeon out there. A great surgical team! Dr. Guy not only very talented in surgery, his bedside manner and ability to explain the procedure clearly prior to the procedure and keeping the family members informed of the progress is awesome. I would give him 6 stars if there is that option. Thanks Dr. Guy

I wrote an extensive review of Dr. Guy and his fabulous after care staff, especially the ICU unit. I could not have been in better hands for my 5 day stay. He should be considered the top 2 Robotic heart surgeons in NYC, and I am living proof of his mastery. The entire process of surgery had intelligent, competent and moreover friendly professionals attending my new experience, putting me at ease. I am out of the hospital recovering at home, and I'm feeling better every day.

Great doc. I'd trust him with my life (again). Just a plain old good guy who seems to genuinely care about his patients. Never once got the feeling he had somewhere else he'd rather be.

In a word, Doctor Guy is awesome! He is careful, smart, skilled, experienced and an exceptionally nice person.
in New York, NY |
Dr. Guy is a surgeon of consummate skill, and equally importantly, an accessible, truly nice person. He performed a difficult mitral valve repair using robotically assisted minimally invasive methods, and my surgical experience, hospitalization and outcome could not have been better. He is new to New York City and we are extremely fortunate to have him here.
in Annandale, NJ |
I had researched the best possible alternatives for Mitral Valve repair and Dr Guy and Weill Cornell came out the best choice for me . His skill in Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery , his experience as a Field surgeon for the US Military were the major factors that made me consider him first for as the best surgeon for my repair procedure . The team he has surrounded himself were equally impressive .
White Plains, NY |
A Doctor who is courteous, knowledgeable in his field, articulate and one who truly cares about his patients well being. He explains in detail so nothing is done without my full understanding of the health issues, risks and the outcomes of surgery. He is easy to talk to and is an extremely competent Heart Specialist. Further, the staff is professional and courteous. I would recommend him to friends and family.
in Lebanon, NJ |
Dr Guy and his team are the ideal staff to work with. I have no doubt that Dr Guy could have handled any unforeseen development They will explain everything and take as much time as you need. No rushing to get to the next patient. You feel like one of the family . Everyone is so very friendly. They focus on being minimally invasive and then pain management. The process of tests and admittance was fast and seamless. Then the nurses attending to you could not be better.
in Ann Arbor, MI |
Dr. Guy has superior expertise and skill in thoracic surgery. He performed my triple bypass operation very beautifully with a great success. I was treated me exceptionally well. He very nicely and respectfully responded to quite a few questions from my family and me. He also made a special effort to help us find a facility where I could stay after discharge. I will certainly recommend him to my family members, friends, and others without any hesitation, when they need a thoracic surgery.
