Dr. Federici is the best! I am 11 weeks from surgery and am doing great. I had a Retina tear and found two smaller ones when he did the surgery. Due to my fear, felt it would be best to do the surgery at Albany med. The office staff are so helpful. Was nervous about the whole situation and they said to call at any time if I was worried about anything and they were true to their word and calmed my fears. They are great!

Dr. Federici was fantastic! He was warm and informative, completely explained my condition and answered all the questions I had. He was very thorough and professional. He came highly recommended and I will do the same with anyone that asks about a great Ophthalmologist in the Capital Region! Go to Dr. Federici and RetinaCare.

Woke up almost completely blind in one eye. Got an emergency visit with my Opthalmologist at 3 p.m. and learned I had a detached retina. He made a call and got me in to see Dr. Federici that same afternoon. Dr. Federici and one of the assistants stayed late to complete my visit. After a few visits, Dr. Federici had my retina moved back into place and then was able to laser it to stay with virtually no loss of vision and no surgery (which I am told is amazing). He was great throughout!
