His revolutionary surgical technique and patented MIS-related inventions are universally acknowledged to have elevated minimally invasive knee replacement to a call by itself, having performed over 12,000 surgeries. Dr. Coon invented and patented the Quadsparing Total Knee Arthoplasty and co-designed the minimally invasive knee implants for Zimmer, Inc. He performed the world's first QuadSparing total knee procedure in 2002. Since then he has dedicated his efforts to perfecting the technique and training surgeons around the world. Dr. Coon helped design and introduce the first robotically-assisted partial and total knee replacement to the West Coast."

The right knee replacement is good, but the left knee began to hurt after about 6 months.. Coon blew me off when I told him about it and said it would get better. It did not. The first appointment I could get to see him was over 3 months away, despite being in pain. Coon lives part time in...more

Had my knee replaced in 2009. Have seen Dr Coon two times since, very thorough with explanations and answered all questions.
