After being misdiagnosed for 3 years from 2 different Psychaitrists, Dr Bittker was able to diagnose me correctly from the first appointment and provided me with the medicine that really worked for me. He is simply a genius and he’ve also had his residency from stanford. He is super caring, knowledgable, and has a great sense of humor. He cares about his patients to the extent that he will always make time for you if you need him. I would recommend him to anyone whos seeking better life.

Although he is extremely busy and on occasion is called to testify, the challenge of the occasional schedule change is worth it. This guy is genuine, brilliant, compassionate and extremely sensitive. Is a total physician and compels attention to the choices you are making in your life. Initiated treatment six months ago and have noted not only improved mood and anxiety control but have begun to make the kind of changes in my life I had been putting off for a long time.

Bittker is probably a nice person, but he has a strange and somewhat cocky approach, and was forgetful in many meetings. He often asked which medication he'd prescribed me, and I believe he confused me with another patient at least once. (He cancelled a few appointments himself, for instance, then shook his finger at me about going and canceling. Bizarre. He also noted to my GP that I'm a pot smoker. I'm not.) I've since found a great doctor, and wish I'd had the guts to leave sooner.

Brilliant and compassionate psychiatrist. Have seen several good doctors, but Dr. Tom combines knowledge with a great ear. Cuts through the trash. Was able to find the right combination of medication and lifestyle adjustment. On one occasion he went out of his way to support me though a really tough divorce.
