Knowledgeable, patient and kind
Dr. Berk spent much time with me trying to get just the right care for my migraines, which came on after a TBI. I see many different doctors and even other neurologists, and Dr. Berk is the one person that has been there for me since almost the beginning. He is knowledgeable, patient and kind. He was able to suggest different solutions to the migraines. We finally found a good mix and it has helped improve the quality of my life with regards to the migraines. I know it’s never easy, but I’m so thankful he didn’t give up on me. Life-changing. If you’re looking for a great doctor, you’ve found him.

He was great. He really listened to me and asked questions. It was super easy to get an appointment, and he was on time. He spent a lot of time with me and didn't suggest any outdated things or things I had already tried

Televisit. Best neurologist I have ever seen in my life and I have seen several. He figure it out quickly that I was having a stagnant migraine, gave excellent treatment protocol and was given steroids (which are working well). Went to the emergency room and Urgent Care, and neither Place could stop the excruciating brain pain. I wish he was in Texas.

He is basically a nice guy but he is very inattentive. Over the time that I was under his care, I had sent him several messages via the patient portal MyChart, which he simply ignored. At one point when I was in excruciating pain from Trigeminal Neuralgia and communicated this to him, he sent me a message via MyChart that he would call me "shortly." He did not call me for another TWO AND A HALF MORE DAYS! Eventually out of desperation, I sought out the services of another neurologist.

Dr. Berk is not only immensely knowledgeable, but, he is the most compassionate, kind and understanding neurologist I have been to in the 20 plus years I have suffered with this chronic illness. He takes the time to listen, is responsive, and utilizes his expertise to formulate a plan to help treat my condition. I have been to numerous neurologists , to the top migraine facilities in the US. None of the physicians I have seen there compare to the care I have received under Dr. Berk.
