Had both hips replaced by Dr. Baier. It was a smooth process and went great for me. Dr. Baier is a very nice man and I felt very confident having him for my surgeon. Everything went fine and my new hips are great!

Dr. Baier performed complete knee replacements on both of my knees in 2015. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend him to anyone who needs a knee replacement.
in Gurnee, IL |
Several years after being diagnosed with AVN (4 to be exact) – the pain and the inability to enjoy life was simply too great to ignore. It’s at that point I found Dr. Baier doing the Anterior Approach THR. The surgery went off without a hitch and my current recovery is going extremely well. I couldn’t be happier and can’t thank Dr. Baier enough for his great work. Dr. Baier is a very knowledgeable, talented surgeon who most definitely stands above rest!
Lindenhurst, IL |
Recently had a total knee replacement and I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Baier. While I am still in the healing process all is going well. Dr. Baier used the Zipline to close the incision. This new method eliminated incision pain and there were no staples or stitches to remove but just two pieces of tape.
in Waukegan, IL |
DR. Baier has fixed both my knees..... he is a great listener .... precise surgeon... and excels in his field. I would reccomend him to anyone who was having issues! His staff is corgial and answers questions, give great direction.
in Lake Forest, IL |
Dr. Baier performed an anterior total hip replacement on my left hip in April 2017 and on my right hip about 30 days later. I feel extremely fortunate that he was my surgeon. I am writing about 10 days after the second surgery, and I am very happy with the outcome of both surgeries. I believe that Dr. Baier is among the elite surgeons in his field.

Please, do yourself a favor and stay away from this office, office collects deposits and credit card numbers from patients with insurance, which is against any rules of medical billing. Nothing against the way the doctor is with patients, however should definitely re-visit office policies with staff. Staff pretty unprofessional!

I had hip replacement (anterior) and my experience and recovery was excellent thanks to Dr. Baier.
in Mundelein, IL |
My first knee replacement with Dr. Baier. He explained everything clearly and made me feel more comfortable with the procedure. He is very professional and showed his care and concern every step of the way. I would highly recommend him and anyone who is facing a knee or hip replacement.
in Waukegan, IL |
I would absolutely recommend Dr. Baier to anyone. He is a kind, caring and knowledgeable caregiver, who absolutely knows how to best treat patients. He spends plenty of time with you, discusses care options with you and has a great staff who also provides exceptional customer service. He is a straight shooter, who will present the facts you need to make decisions. He is the BEST......I am a patient of his who has had two complete knee replacements that were very extensive and difficult.
in Grayslake, IL |
Dr. Baier performed total knee replacement surgeries on both of my arthritic knees. I am now able to bike ride 24 miles in a single ride without any pain. The surgeries were proceed by an injection of that libricating gell in one knee without any improvement in the knee. I highly recommend Dr. Baier as a surgeon to consider for TKR surgery.

Look no further! You will be in good hands with Dr. Baier , Pa-c Selina and their staff. Last year 2016 they fixed my right shoulder that had a torn rotator cuff, torn labrum, torn bicep and 25 years of arthritis. I have about 90-95% of my shoulder movement back without pain. I went bow hunting in Oct. 2016 with that shoulder. Dec. 12, 2016 they did a double knee replacement on my abused knees of 61yrs. 1 week later I climbed stairs @ rehab. I was home on the 29th of Dec. Dr. Baier THANK YOU!!
Grayslake, IL |
Dr Baier has performed two operations on my knees. Both went very well. I highly recommend him.
Grayslake, IL |
Dr. Baier is efficient and knowledgeable about the Anterior Hip replacement. He replaced my right knee five years ago and I have had nothing but good luck with that, right from the start. With the hip, he was available to me for questions, which he answered so I could understand. After surgery, he was thorough during the post surgery exam and made sure I understood that I needed to continue specific exercises for at least a year. I am free of pain and have been since the surgery.

In June 2016, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and was subsequently transported to the emergency room of Condell Hospital for treatment. Dr. Baier was the physician on duty. My injuries required surgery that day, with several follow-up surgeries over the next two weeks. Dr. Baier has taken care of my treatments ever since. I totally trust Dr. Baier with his decisions regarding my case. I've found him to be totally honest, and he always has time to address my questions or concerns.
in Gurnee, Il |
He is exteremely knowledgeable and professional. I had one knee replacement in May and the second in July. I would highly recommend him. He listened to my needs as well as listened to my primary physician who knows me and my particular physical concerns. Every one at the hospital during both procedures asks who is your doctor when I would tell them Dr. Baier each time the person would say he's the best.
in Libertyville, IL |
I've been to Greenleaf Orthopaedic Associates several times over the last few years. Dr. Baier has seen me for various knee and shin issues. I am a runner and Dr. Baier recognized my desire to get back to my activities as quickly as possible. He and his PA, Selina Carpenter listened to my concerns and put together a care plan to address my ailments and let me get back to my activities as quickly as possible.
in Libertyville, IL |
I have seen Dr. Baier for a number of ailments, e.g. back issues, herniated discs, arthritis, piriformis, iliotibial (IT) band. He is so thorough in assessing the issue, taking into consideration your history and how your body works together as a whole, not just concentrating on the part that hurts. He will try every option before resorting to surgery. Most of the time the solution for me was physical therapy. You leave well informed as to care, treatment, and prevention of your injury.
in Green Oaks, IL |
I recently chose Dr. Baier to do a total hip replacement. He had been honing his skills with a relatively new anterior approach. He is polite, concise, and is clearly an expert in his field. He has a fantastic staff, who really take the level of patient understanding to a higher level. Dr. Baier and his team insured that I was ready for the procedure, and, more importantly, for the recovery. I was literally dancing a week later, and continue to strengthen through PT at Greenleaf.
in Mundelein, IL |
His staff was knowledgeable, experienced and engaging. Dr. Baier was great. Took a look at my medical history. Asked me questions about recent injuries to my knee. Explained that he thought it was just a cyst behind the knee, but arranged for immediate X-ray to eliminate possible bone involvement. X-Ray technician was knowledge, kind and engaging. Took me back to exam room and within minutes Dr. Baier was back to go over findings, suggesting non-invasive watch & see since there was no pain
