The Greatest Back Surgeon In Philadelphia, PA
Dr. Theresa Panzionis is one of the surgeons at Temple University Boyer Pavilon, and in my opinion, the absolute best back surgeon in Philadelphia, PA.. Dr. Panzionis performed the surgery on my lower back, and I have absolutely no complaints concerning the wonderful job that she performed. Not only is Dr. Panzionis a great surgeon, she's also a doctor who genuinely cares about her patients well being from start to finish, with the most awesome mannerisms, always professional, and a complete joy to have in your presence. If you've been told that you have to have back surgery, and have been putting it off and fearing the worst, or want a second opinion, please consider getting your second opinion from Dr. Panzionis, and consider making her your surgeon, I guarantee, you'll never regret it, to me she's a Godsend. "God Bless You And Your Family Dr. Panzionis, May He Continue To Bless You, To Continue Being A Blessing To Your Patients, Family, And Friends"!

I saw Dr. Pazionis for a consult to discuss excruciating radicular leg pain which presented from my butt down through the top of my right thigh and stopped at my knee. Dr. Pazionis ordered an MRI and follow up. On my second visit she reviewed my MRI and explained my pathology as being a disc herniation, with ligamentum flavum hypertrophy and foraminal stenosis. My disc herniation was more prominent on my right side at the L2/3 disc level. With that, she suggested surgery which would involve a hemilaminectomy /discectomy. She was so confident with her diagnosis, I did not hesitate with my decision for surgery. Dr. Pazionis has hands of gold! I’m 2 weeks out of surgery which I had on November 29th 2021, and I feel absolutely 100% pain free! Dr. Pazionis has given me my life back.

My experience with Dr. Pazionis was outstanding. She explained what the best surgery would be for my condition and did not think that my age was a factor for my not being eligible. Dr. Pazionis' surgical team in her office and in the hospital increased my confidence in my overall outcomes.

I have struggled with a back injury for 43 years, concerned about the final outcome. I have met with many orthopedic Doctors and would not go down the road of surgery until I met Dr Pazionis. She explained the issue that has developed over the many years and gave me the understanding of my medical problems. I had the surgery by Dr Pazionis and two weeks out I am feeling so much better then I have in years. At 63 years of age I have met with many doctors over the years but I must say that Dr Pazionis has a fantastic demeanor and the ability to connect with people and provide information on complex conditions in a way that it can clearly understood.

Having back surgery has helped more than I thought it would- I have had back pain for 15 years and after the surgery I can say that its safe, I can move again without pain (I am pain free) and I feel WONDERFUL. My surgeon is one of the best surgeons I have had since she walked me through the surgery and she is showing me all the things I can do after the surgery. She is really great.

Dr. Pazionis is absolutely outstanding and I would highly recommend her for your orthopaedic surgery and oncology needs. I was ill for over a year when I was finally diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma. Dr. Pazionis took on my case and provided me with the best care humanly possible. She is truly brilliant and an exceptionally gifted surgeon, but above all, she is a compassionate soul. Dr. Pazionis takes her time explaining all of your options and is a very attentive listener.
