Dr. Goodman has helped me SO much. I've had severe depression for over 30yrs. Meds. would help for a while then stop working and need to be changed around. Eventually I'd fall back into the same place and it would be worse each time. This last time I was so sick, I was on every kind of psych. med. and nothing was working at all. I was referred to Dr. Goodman to be hospitalized and start ECT treatments. It has worked and I am so grateful to be given a new life. I totally recommend him.

Dr. Goodman is a fantastic psychiatrist. He is caring and understanding. I am currently undergoing TMS treatment for depression that I have had for the last 4 plus years. It is working and I am feeling more positive and my mood has uplifted without antidepressants. I would say if you are struggling with depression that you should contact Dr. Goodman at Sutter for a consult. My results have been phenomenal.

Dr Goodman did not take the appropriate amount of time to review my medical history which included reactions to anesthesia as well as sensitivities to medications which resulted in me waking up during the first ECT treatment which resulted in me beginning to aspirate. Dr Goodman suggested that the physical pain I was in from a well-documented physical problem I was diagnosed with was psycho somatic in nature. I offered to provide clinical evidence of my diagnoses but he declined.

Dr. Goodman saved my life. My depression was affecting my life to the point I didn't know how much longer I could have continued. Dr. Goodman truly cares about his clients. He listens to everything one has to say. Has the knowledge that is required for ECT treatment. His staff is excellent. Courteous. Caring. Always willing to go the extra mile.
