My dad was admitted by Dr. Chow on February 23and stayed in the hospital until March 1, Dr. Chow did not visit my dad at all during 7 days even we have repeated requests. I don't know about his skills, I do know he does not care for his patient.

I am very sorry for your experience. I was out of town during the week your father was admitted to the hospital, and I apologize that information was not passed on to you. I hope everything worked out in the end . Best wishes. Ted Chow

Not interested in patient care. Very distant person. Seen in initial consultation, then defer further care to NP, doing many fancy tests with no results ever discussed, and refer out to another cardiologist. I am sorry you had a bad experience, and I hope you're doing well now. My practice does not employ any nurse practitioners or nurses, and I am the only provider in my office. I wonder therefore if you may be thinking about another physician. Sometimes patients need a certain procedure or test that a different specialist is better equipped to handle--I believe that situation warrants referral. The guiding principle is always to do what is in the best interest of the patient.
