I am not sure why a review of the nurse is even on this site. Dr Dean did a knee procedure and a hip replacement for me. I asked tough questions and he graciously answered each one. I have had other doctors show me the door for asking tough questions.

I was referred to Dr. Dean after having a horrible experience with my first doctor. I was excited about a young orthopedic surgeon that seemed ambitious in his practice. Everything was going great until his Nurse/Scheduling Nurse got involved. She was impossible to get ahold of! They were supposed to schedule a procedure and that did not happen for almost 2 Weeks. I left 3 voicemails and never got one call returned until almost 2 weeks later.

Over the past few years, I have had a very difficult time with one of my knee replacements due to a previous MRSA Staph infection that occurred 10 years before the total knee replacement. Dr. Dean was called in as the "troubleshooter of the troubleshooter." My experience with Dr. Dean has been incredible. He's come up with alternative treatments that were not even thought to be available. His caring attitude towards my issue has been incredible. I highly recommend Dr. Dean, he's first-rate.

My 81-year-old mother-in-law had been experiencing a progressive condition called vascular necrosis in her left hip for some months. Once it was finally diagnosed another orthopedic surgeon referred Dr. Dean because he felt Dean's particular experience was better suited for her condition. He was spot on. My mother-in-law is 6 months out of surgery and as far as that hip goes, never better :-) Dr. Dean and the office staff is also friendly, personal and representative of the best of medicine.
