While he seemed like a nice guy and knew his stuff, seemed very disinterested in my knee issue since I was not a young athlete with a sports injury. Additionally, most painful cortisone injection I have ever had and not a follow-up call to see if I was okay. No relief from the shot and I can not get anyone to call me back or phone in a prescription....

Dr. Gemas performed orthoscopic surgery on my knee. A couple of years later, did complete knee replacement. Fantastic experience. Returned to work in 3 weeks by following all his directions and therapy. Treated bursitis in my hip with an injection and no problems since then. Treating bursitis in my shoulder with great relief. Will do the other knee replacement this fall. He did ACL surgery on my granddaughter and she returned to soccer early with no complications. Excellent doctor!

Dr. Gemmas is a great guy. He treated me for a damaged rotator cuff and had great success, Then I fell and broke my right leg and the ankle. He performed surgery on the leg and ankle, inserting a titanium plate and screws. The mid-recovery visit and X-ray found the x-ray machine broken and instead of sending me to one of several in the area he said we'd just pass of it. When the cast was removed he said the surgery had failed and blamed me, said I walked on it and I HAD NOT done that.Tried to m

While I did wait quite a while for him to come in, I barely waited initially. I immediately got x-rays and talked to Dr. Gemas' assistant. Dr. Gemas did take plenty of time to listen to what I was saying and explain things in non-medical terms. He was never condescending or insinuated that I didn't need to be there. So far, so good with Dr. Gemas!
