Dallas, TX |
While he seemed like a nice guy and knew his stuff, seemed very disinterested in my knee issue since I was not a young athlete with a sports injury. Additionally, most painful cortisone injection I have ever had and not a follow-up call to see if I was okay. No relief from the shot and I can not get anyone to call me back or phone in a prescription....

Dr. Gemas performed orthoscopic surgery on my knee. A couple of years later, did complete knee replacement. Fantastic experience. Returned to work in 3 weeks by following all his directions and therapy. Treated bursitis in my hip with an injection and no problems since then. Treating bursitis in my shoulder with great relief. Will do the other knee replacement this fall. He did ACL surgery on my granddaughter and she returned to soccer early with no complications. Excellent doctor!

While I did wait quite a while for him to come in, I barely waited initially. I immediately got x-rays and talked to Dr. Gemas' assistant. Dr. Gemas did take plenty of time to listen to what I was saying and explain things in non-medical terms. He was never condescending or insinuated that I didn't need to be there. So far, so good with Dr. Gemas!
