I have been a patient of Dr Piper /Dr Hemmer since 1992.As a retired nurse and patient I can tell you he and his staff are the very best!!! Total professionalism, state of the art technology, all delivered in a compassionate,caring environment.

I never got to see Dr. Piper. His associate, Dr. Hemmer, was cool and offered me great assistance. The reason for the low rating is because of his surgical scheduler, Kim. I found her to be lacking compassion and really unwilling to assist me with Insurance issues. As a result, I've been forced to find a different surgeon, when Piper was the one I really wanted to see. I'm supremely disappointed with the whole system.

I would recommend Dr. Piper and Dr. Hemmer to any one considering back surgery. The surgeries he performed on myself were a herniated disc and fusing the 5 lower vertebrae. It has been over a year since the lower back surgery at 66+ years I golf, Bicycle, mow 6 acres of grass. I am able to all of these without the pain I had previously.
