This content was provided by Dr. Kreisl "Dr. Teri N. Kreisl earned her medical degree from Weill Medical College of Cornell University. She was Chief Resident of her neurology program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, then completed fellowship subspecialty training in neuro-oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Subsequently, Dr. Kreisl joined the Neuro-Oncology Branch (NOB) of the Center for Cancer Research at the National Cancer Institute where she was a Tenure Track Clinical Investigator with a research focus on molecular imaging in brain tumors. Dr. Kreisl also served as Fellowship Director and Medical Director for the NOB. She has experience as Principal Investigator for numerous phase I and II clinical trials for the treatment of primary brain tumors, and will continue similar research efforts with the Division of Neuro-oncology at Columbia University. Primary brain tumors, metastatic disease affecting the central nervous system, lumbar puncture."
