Dr Ted Anderson performed what should have been an outpatient surgery on me to remove a simple ovarian cyst and as a result of his negligence I endured life threatening complications which if had not been caught by another doctor after I left the hospital would have been fatal. I also endured a horrendus week stay in the hospital and a second surgery due to these complications. I had other OB-gyns tell me the mistake he made is one only intern would make and certainly should not have been made by a physician who is purported to be an expert in his field should not ever make. In addition the uncaring and unprofessional care I received in the post operative care unit (PACU) at Vanderbilt University following the four hour surgery done by this MD also comprimised my safety and caused me unneeded pain and did not meet standard of care for a patient following what turned out to be a complicated gyn surgery for any hospital. My advice-RUN OUT OF THIS OFFICE and get a new doctor STAT!!

He blatantly lied to me about Mirena as practically working miracles for Endometriosis & making my life functional again!!! When I had an allergic reaction to the Mirena, he wouldn't even return my calls. I had a HORRIBLE rash & was hurting much worse than after the Endometriosis surgery?! Ted L. Anderson denied that Mirena had ANY SIDE EFFECTS, even though Mirena lists them on the their own website! I would rate him less than zero!

Dr. Anderson is an extremely qualified physician. He gives you all the information to decide what is right for you. He does not push you into surgery unless it is really necessary. He is also kind and has an excellent bedside manner.

What a terrible experience! He invalidated and minimized my pelvic pain. He informed me that he did not believe that I have endometriosis then wanted to schedule surgery to remove endometriosis (that he just told me I don't have). His philosophy on the removal of endometriosis is not up to date and barbaric; the medical journals for the most up-to-date surgical methods he references are "from the 1980s". It's 2016; there ought to be better care for women suffering from debilitating pelvic pain.

I went to see Dr Anderson for a second opinion. I was having right sided pain for 2 years and my OB/GYN wanted to put me in menopause. Dr Anderson found I had endometriosis and it was causing my bladder to stay inflamed! He removed the endometriosis. The surgery went well. He has a wonderful bedside manner and treats his patients like human beings! He tells you exactly what he thinks and he doesn't treat you like another patient. He actually cares!
