I have never been to an ENT before, so I didn't have much to go off of. However, it seemed like he wasn't listening AT ALL. He kept saying I just have migraines.... really? Wouldn't my top notch neurologist diagnose that and not sure an ENT even can. Then what was the worst was he prescribed a migraine medication and said if it doesn't work in 2 hours take the next up to the max of 4 in a day. My neurologist about lost his dang mind because even on the manufacturer website it says max of 2 and he said I was lucky I didn't have a stroke.

I had my daughter miss school and drove in from over 45 minutes away to bring my daughter in for an appointment I have never been treated like that before over being 11 minutes late for an appointment. They stated I was over by 1 minute and I had to re schedule 2 weeks from now. I politely asked if there was any way they could get us in to accommodate and the front desk was very rude. I will never visit that office again.

I had a "weird" oral condition I couldn't heal and Dr. Shepard, after examining the problem area and ordering some tests, diagnosed my problem and ordered a compounded prescription that healed the condition. He was very professional and I felt very comfortable with his manner. The staff was very friendly, making my visit a pleasant one. I would definitely refer friends/family to this doctor.

Dr Shepard is intelligent, approachable and easy to work with. He's honest and sincere and works with you to figure it all out and work on a plan that makes sense to make everything better. I had a few procedures with Dr. Shepard and have been to him a few times since. Every time it's always an enjoyable experience and I feel better soon after. The staff at Austin Ear, Nose and Throat are all great and I can't recommend them enough.

Very rude. Didn't ask about symptoms. Spent about five minutes. I have a serious condition that may require surgery. He was happy to just get me out of the office, and said it was nothing. I needed a second biopsy. Then I was dropped as a patient. Can't see any of their doctors now. Austin Ear Nose and Throat is really bad. They hide behind their "policies". They don't want to treat anything serious.

Knowledgeable, however abrasive and condescending. Displays a know it all mentality. I would not recommend this physician.
