in Houston, TX |
Dr. Gist is an excellent Neurosurgeon!! My mother had been suffering with severe lumbar stenosis for few years with failed results from multiple steroid spinal injections. He so impressed my mom that she chose him over another surgeon we had visited. Best decision ever! He operated on her without any complications! NO Infection!! Because of his excellent skills, my mom is pain free and able to walk without assistance!! Truly cares about his patients! Excellent bedside manner! Great office staff!

Excellent surgical results.
in Houston, TX |
Excellent experience with Dr Gist. I was in extreme pain and could barely walk. He was accurate with the diagnosis and told me I needed a lumbar laminectomy. Surgery was scheduled the following week, and 3-weeks post-surgery I am 100% better! Walking 2-3 miles a day now and have my life back. Dr Gist was very responsive to questions, had a terrific bedside manner, and made me feel very comfortable going through the surgery. Follow up has been great and I would highly recommend him
