I finally feel that I am back to being myself after 2 years of leg pain. The results of the my laminectomy surgery were great. Couldn’t walk a block without pain prior and within 7 days I was able to walk 2 miles. Very upfront about what to expect from surgery and results have been life changing for me. Easy to communicate with doctor as well.

I recommend Dr. Zannikos to everyone that has low back or neck problems. Dr. Zannikos performed lumbar spinal fusion surgery on me almost 2 years ago. I never had any problems or setbacks. I did fall on my back a couple of months ago and I went back to make sure the surgery was not damaged. Dr. Zannikos and his staff were so kind and concerned. After x-rays and a checkup, my back proved to be ok. I am so very pleased with the excellent work and caring manner of Dr. Zannikos and his staff.

There are no words that can explain how much Dr Zannikos has helped me with my back situation. He is very very caring, he speaks to you from a patient perspective, and has nothing but the best interest in making you better whether it's through surgery or otherwise. I have 100% trust everything Dr Zannikos says and I'm so glad to have been referred to him! Thank you for everything!

Dr. Zannikos is a superb doctor and a caring human being. I had microdiscectomy surgery after which my leg pain completely went away. I did however have issues with nausea with the pain medication I was talking after surgery. I spoke to him personally on a Friday afternoon and he made a few changes. He then called me twice (once on Saturday and then again on Sunday) , without me calling, to see how I was doing. His follow up was beyond expected and very appreciated!

Dr. Zannikos is very upfront and has always been very straightforward with me about my spinal problems and his care before and after surgery. He does not push you to make your choices the choice is yours if you want the surgery or not. He explains everything in very simple easy to understand terms.

Dr Zannikos was recommended to me by one of my neighbors who was suffering with similar back and leg pain as I was and had great relief of pain after surgery. he convinced me to see him and I immediately I felt comfortable with him and his calming demeanor. All my questions were patiently answered and after years of physical therapy and injections I finally decided to go ahead with a lateral fusion and screws. I am almost 9 months from surgery and I feel the best I have in years. Very grateful!

Very personable and caring doctor and the office staff is also very friendly. I am very pleased with the preparation and explanation prior to my surgery. After surgery it was easy to get a hold of him and the office for any questions, and I had many! I am glad I finally went ahead with surgery and even more so that I chose Dr. Zannikos. I would highly recommend Dr. Zannikos

Dr. Zannikos is awesome. I have many spine issues including cervical, thoracic and Lumbar. I've seen other spine doctors and had prior Lumbar surgery before seeing him. Dr. Zannikos takes his time, explains everything in detail, has a great personality and steady hands. He performed a 4 level ACDF in my neck that was a great success. I love this guy, he's an outstanding surgeon and would highly recommend him to anyone. On top of that everyone in that office has been a pleasure to deal with.

I was very hesitant about having surgery mostly because of anxiety. Dr. Zannikos talked very patiently to me, explained the procedure to me and that helped calm me down and make me feel confident that his procedure would help my pain. I recently saw him for my six month appointment and I am happy to report I am pain free!

Dr. Z performed surgery on my lower back to repair a ruptured disk that had kept me in agony for 11 months. The result was amazing. 7 months post surgery, I have no pain, only occasional aches, and I am able to play with the kids and dogs again.

My back problems had been with me of many years. I had seen two doctors prior to DR. Zannikos. One wanted to fuse my entire spine and the other wanted nothing to do with me. I had almost given up until I talked to DR, Zannikos. He looked at my x-rays and said matter of factly 'I can fix this. That he did. His bed side manner is awesome.

Dr. Zannikos did my back surgery in February after I was referred by Dr. Sullivan. Both Doctors are amazing. I was very nervous about having surgery. Dr. Zannikos talk to me and calmed me down and made me feel confident that his procedure would make me pain-free. One week after my procedure I was back to work. After a month I have no pain I feel like I did five years ago. I can never thank him enough for doing my surgery and get me back on the right foot or should I say back on both feet.

Previously had sent in a review on Dr. Zannikos and erroneously checked off the first star instead of the last (excellent) star. I find Dr. Zannikos a very knowledgeable and caring doctor. He took the time to explain the whole procedure of my, then, upcoming spinal surgery...The same explanations and attentiveness were greatly appreciated during my follow-up appointments.

From the moment I met Dr. Zannikos I knew he would be the surgeon who would operate on me. He greeted me with a warm, welcoming smile and made me feel like I was his only patient. He answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns with patience. A couple of months ago he performed major spinal surgery on me, and I am a new woman! Mine was not a routine surgery because of deterioration of my spine and back but he was able to give me a "new" back. I actually refer to him as my hero!
