Work with patients to maintain or improve overall health and wellness. Will focus on the prevention of medical illnesses as well as injuries sustained from sports and physical activity. Will establish individualized medical care plans and encourage patients to take a proactive role in guiding or improving his/her care.
Dr. Shah is a board certified and fellowship trained sports medicine physician who is an expert in treating sports-related injuries.
Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from the AUC School of Medicine in Cupecoy, St. Maarten before completing his internship and residency in Family Medicine at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina.
He then completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Shah provides a comprehensive range of care, from sports medicine for the serious athlete to osteoarthritis treatment and prevention, and he is proud to serve the Brandon and surrounding area communities.
