Dr. Hall's bio
This content was provided by Dr. Hall "Dr. Suzanne Hall is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and a Fellowship Trained Shoulder Specialist. She is the only orthopedic surgeon in Western North Carolina whose practice is entirely devoted to people with shoulder problems. Dr. Hall graduated from Boston University and U. Mass Medical School. She did her Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York. She combines her expertise in the latest surgical and nonsurgical techniques and her extensive experience, with a warm, caring approach to each individual patient. Her practice, Appalachian Orthopedics, is still an independently owned office, so she can give you the time you need. This enables her to give you an accurate diagnosis and a clear discussion of the treatment options, so that you can make informed decisions about your care. "
This content was provided by Dr. Hall "Dr. Suzanne Hall is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who is a Fellowship Trained Shoulder Specialist. This extra expertise creates a very different experience for those in need of shoulder care. The visit begins by really listening to you. Family or friends are encouraged to come as an extra pair of eyes and ears. The exam is thorough and tests are only ordered when necessary. Diagnoses are clearly explained. Whenever possible, nonoperative treatment is tried first. When surgery is needed, gentle techniques are used to minimize pain, speed healing, and maximize results. After surgery, you are instructed in home exercises which can usually be done without physical therapy. Early treatment gives the best chance of a great recovery. "
