Excellent Physician
Both my son and I have been patients of Dr. El Sayegh since 2005. My son is a kidney transplant recipient and I was his donor. I find Dr. El Sayegh to be quite knowledgeable, competent, and compassionate. The staff is also very professional. I have recommended friends and family over the years to this practice, and now I am recommending you the reader

Outstanding
Dr Elsayegh is such a great nephrologist I would recommend her to anyone. She took such great care of my brother in law from day one since his first encounter in the hospital and monitored him outpatient ever since. The doctor was very through answered any questions we had and explained everything in detail; as far as procedures being done and what medications he was taking that might affect his only kidney down to his diet and fought very hard to keep him off dialysis. My family is very greatful to meet such a wonderful doctor and thank you for you dedication.

Not good
I saw Dr. Suzanne El-Sayegh during a hospital visit at Staten Island University Hospital North. I was referred to her by the hospital after discharge but I chose to go to a different nephrologist due to the following reasons: she was very impatient, she didn’t give me enough time to speak and kept cutting me off, I didn’t get the chance to give her my full story, she spoke very fast and when I asked for calcification she got upset and was very rude to me, she seemed very angry she was screaming at one of the other young doctor who was initially there to help me. Overall her behavior was very unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. I didn’t like her.

Horrible
She is truly horrible. She has no sympathy for her patients. Very disrespectful. I don’t know how or where she received her medical degree. I don’t recommend her to anyone. My mother was her patient but she was so bad we had to switch doctors. My mother is now seeing Dr. Chevalier and we are very happy with him.

Worst nephrologist in Staten Island
She is one of the worst nephrologists I’ve been to. Do not go to her. She has no manners, she spent 2 minutes with me and was looking at her phone the entire time. She didn’t spend enough time with me and did not seem to care at all. She is not a good doctor.
