Dr. Weaver is very caring and takes the time to talk, answer questions and explain results thoroughly. I highly recommend her. She is kind and her staff is caring and they respond. Yes, this is a very busy office but I have never encountered the problems/issues others have commented on. Yes, at times waits are long but it is worth it to me. She is very knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Treated my wife for brain cancer. Included the family, answered all concerns, spent as much time with us as needed, called us at home, conferred with other Drs. We saw... she was outstanding. Very professional and very compasionate.

As a former patient of hers, do not be mistaken by her single-minded approach to treating patients and the family members who too, deal with the disease(s) of cancer. Not only is there a lack of resources on her behalf such as an adequate nursing staff, but there is no effort in searching for clinical trials. "Look it up yourself!" is what you may hear. "There is no cure for this disease" is of course another good one, and "buying time" although realistic, is not acceptable. Thumbs Down!

I posted on 2/15 + 3/4/17. Mom passed on 3/7. She was given good care. I think the dr knew it was fatal, but tried anyway. Mom died 28 days after diagnosis.

She is NEVER available, cancels appointments, doesn't call you with test results promptly. Highly disappointed with her. She is the only one available in the Albany area, and never available...only Thursdays. Very Agravated by her lack of professionalism.

Dr. Weaver is fantastic. We were referred to her in a time of crisis and she proved to be concerned and caring, willing to take extra time to answer any questions we had and offered helpful suggestions along with treatment options. She was instrumental in getting us into a clinical trial and has closely followed the progress with her concern and expertise. We are confident in the care we're getting and would highly recommend her.

Very difficult to contact, through Neurology Dept. Staff always says she's only there on Thursday's and they can only e-mail her. Doesn't get back to you on timely basis if ever and seldom is contact with Dr., only staff. Last thing a cancer patient wants to hear is that she is only there on Thursdays! Have heard very good things about her treatment experience though. Seems to be overworked, too many patients and inefficient uncaring staff.

She seems nice but she really didn't care about my family member who she was treating. She didn't treat the patient as if it were her own family member. He was telling her about an issue he was having that related to his condition and she brushed it off and didn't think it needed to be checked further. It ended up being a big issue and was not treatable because it had discovered too late! Even though the patient told her about it many times. Find a different doctor if possible!
