What People Say About Dr. Susan Trout, MD

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Trout. I have PCOS and we were able to conceive and have a beautiful little girl in 2016. We are back now for round 2 and are thrilled to have her and her staff along for our journey. When we originally went, they did have a rude receptionist, Rose, but she is no longer. Everyone that works there now are so sweet and kind. You cannot find anyone better than her. She is so smart and understanding. Seriously, she is the best.

We absolutely loved Dr Trout, the nurses (especially Melinda, her IVF nurse), Lori the practice manager, and the amazing Lab Director, Dr. Van Blerkom! They helped us overcome our infertility issues to become the proud parents of a healthy, smart, amazing, (now 2 year old) baby girl! They all put in extra time (phone calls, special lab visits, appointments on weekends, extra consultations and exams) to help us achieve a successful pregnancy. We are forever grateful for them!

I can't stress enough against seeing Dr. Trout for Infertility. She is terribly inefficient, costing us more time and money than necessary, something we didn't realize until we transferred out of her care after almost two years. When we finally conceived only to end in miscarriage, it took her a long time to confirm no heartbeat. We were miserable and in tears when she then specifically referred to the bleeding to follow as "the fun part." Please, save yourself the heartache. Don't treat here.

Dr. Trout and her practice have terrible communication and lack attention to detail. Issues include incomplete or inconsistent information about treatment options and plan, rude front desk staff (Rose), and missed steps during treatment. Ultimately we fired her (and then found out three of our friends had also fired her).
