This content was provided by Dr. Pannullo "Dr. Pannullo is the Director of Neuro-oncology and the Director of Neurosurgical Radiosurgery at the Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center. Both a neurosurgeon and a neuro-oncologist, Dr. Pannullo is board-certified in both neurology and neurological surgery, is fellowship trained in neuro-oncology, and has completed specialty training in stereotactic radiosurgery. She is one of the few neurosurgeons in the world with a neurosurgical practice focused only on stereotactic radiosurgery, and one of the few neurosurgeons in the country with access to a CyberKnife, Gamma Knife, and Linear Accelerator (LINAC) to conduct stereotactic radiosurgery procedures. TRAINING Dr. Pannullo received her undergraduate degree with honors in Anthropology from Cornell University in 1983 and her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in 1987. Following a medicine internship at Harvard-Beth Israel Medical Center, she completed a neurology residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in 1991. From 1991 to 1992, she was an American Cancer Society Fellow in Neuro-oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She then completed a second residency in neurological surgery at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in 1997, becoming the program's first female graduate. RESEARCH Dr. Pannullo's research background includes clinical studies at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center as well as laboratory research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. She currently oversees and directs the department's numerous single-center and multi-center brain tumor clinical trials."

This content was provided by Dr. Pannullo "I am proud to be one of the few physicians in the world who is board-certified in both neurology and neurological surgery, and perhaps the only one also fellowship-trained in neuro-oncology. My neuro-oncology practice focuses on management of complex benign and malignant tumors of the brain and spine. My neurosurgical practice is dedicated to the use of a noninvasive technology called "stereotactic radiosurgery" to treat  without pain or hospitalization  tumors affecting the brain and spine, arteriovenous malformations and trigeminal neuralgia."

Dr Pannullo is one of those special doctors.... knows what she is doing, is able to explain things at an appropriate level, cares, and is very accessible for questions which is good - if you need to see her, your health is probably at risk and you want to find a top doctor. Which she is!!!

Dr.Pannullo explains everything so you understand, she takes time to sit with you and answer and questions or concerns you have. I See many Doctors and she is one of the best I see. I travel almost 2 hours just to see her, well worth the trip.
