She has been a blessing for our family by always taking the time to listen and collaborating as opposed to authoritatively instructing.

It was a nightmare experience. She cold-turkey took me off my meds for my autoimmune disorder and put me in a med that was contraindicated because of my low blood pressure. It caused my bp to drop dangerously low and I started hallucinating. I then went through detox from my regular meds with horrifying electric shock-like pain before I saw my internist. He was outraged at her actions. He put me back on my meds. When I looked at my file from her it only had notes about a different patient!

Very receptive, doesn't dismiss your concerns, tries to build rapport with you, and doesn't try to force you to see unwanted side effects as necessary, let alone twist them into a positive to shut you up and make you go away.

I've been to several doctors for a difficult diagnosis, and it is easy to spot which physicians are genuine about patient care and which ones only see dollar signs; from my experience with her, it was blatantly obvious. My financial concerns about having lab/ekg testing immediately after my appointment were not respected until I flat out refused until I checked with insurance. My choices were to have the tests done or find someone else, needless to say, I went elsewhere.

Dr. Jaquez - Dean runs late as many doctor's in this field do but when you enter her office; she does not often make eye contact and is often rude. During our few years with her, we have filed 3 formal complaints due to inappropriate care, incorrect and unnecessary testing, and refusal to provide care if her "orders" were not followed. My daughter had been under the care of numerous physicians since birth and I have never lodged a formal complaint about any doctor until we met Dr. Jaquez - Dean

If I could have given NO stars, I would have. Absolutely worst experience I have ever had with a physician.
