Eiland provides comprehensive and compassionate eye care, including both surgical and medical treatment, for a wide variety of eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, and dry eyes. She received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, and medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Medicine. Her Ophthalmology Residency was completed at the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident.Dr. Eiland serves as the Chief of Ophthalmology at St. Vincent’s Birmingham campus and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology in the UAB Department of Ophthalmology at the Callahan Eye Foundation, where she has served as past president of the medical staff. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Alabama Academy of Ophthalmology, the Medical Society of the State of Alabama, and the Jefferson County Medical Society.She lives in Birmingham with her husband and their pets. They have two grown children."
