Condescending and no patience to give information
Wish I had gotten a second opinion prior to a procedure because very little was explained to me and all the appointments felt rushed. The purposes for a surgery I agreed to were not the same as what I only found out actually happened during surgery more than a week later. She treated me like a statistic and not a woman or person. In appointments, her words, body language and facial expressions were callous and ridiculed me in the little and quick interaction we had for life changing news. It's not acceptable behavior in any other social setting. It was as if she is used to treating certain people (because apparently not all people get this treatment from her) this way and was never asked to self evaluate or reflect. I was not informed with all the options I could've had. She made decisions for me about my options based on a number without considering my role in making decisions about my own body.

Saved my life
They are working with what they got and they definitely need more resources, but that's definitely not their fault. It's the healthcare system in a nutshell. Incredible doctor with Dr. Crockett. Made me and my husband feel comfortable. Great staff. Just be patient. So much is going on in Texas and they're doing their best.

Surgical repair
Dr. Susan Crockett and her team are awesome. From Kristin at the front desk to the nurses and med techs in the back, they are all so professional, kind, helpful and respectful. The NP, Ms. Self, is very knowledgeable , professional and empathetic. I couldn't have chosen a better surgeon and her staff. I trust this great medical team. I was a registered nurse for 41 years. I know what I say is true.

Fantastic Physician
I went in as a new patient. Every person I dealt with from appointment scheduling to the doctor and everyone in between was so kind and professional. Dr. Crockett did a great job on my hysterectomy. I wish I had found their office sooner.

Very capable doctor, confident in her abilities. I've had 2 appointments and both times I was there for an hour before doctor saw me. Felt like 2nd appointment which was only a follow up on my lab results could have been done by virtual website or by phone. I waited an hour to tell me good results and visit with her for literally 1 minute. I have a 30 minute drive just so that I can see her.

Dr. Crockett changed my life. Being in healthcare, I lifted a patient 15 years ago and torqued my ovary. Surgery correction and 4 D&Cs later I was in continuous pain and had to guard my abdomen with every cough or sneeze. After many years of being told I was too young and in good health, I sought a new doctor. Two days after my hysterectomy, I felt better than I have in many, many years. I can only recommend her over and over again... along with every nurse that was at my bedside at NE Methodist that told me she was their doctor or if they were male and had a wife; their wife saw her because of her forward, innovative treatment. Excellent doctor.

If I could give her less than 1 star I would. Our 15yo daughter was in extreme pain with her cycles. We went to Dr. Crockett. She performed the surgery to check for endometriosis and came back after 15 min in surgery and said there wasn't any. Our daughter remained in pain and she kept saying it would get better with a patch. It didnt. We got a 2nd opinion and the OBGYN saw the endometriosis immedietly upon viewing the photos Dr. Crockett took during the surgery she performed. The new OBGYN performed the surgery and said there was alot of it and he was able to remove it. Do not go to Dr. Crockett!

I wish I could give 0 stars!! This place is the worst. Dr Crockett gave me a note to be off work because of the stress of not getting breaks or lunches while trying to conceive. Then when time came to fill out paperwork for my job explaining why she wrote me off work, she changed her mind and told the company I can go back to work. Causing me to almost lose my job. The office workers are rude and not helpful. I called every day for a week to get a return to work note that they said they would wo

I have been happy with Dr. Crockett, but because of her rude office staff I am now looking for another GYN. Getting a response from an email or a call is nonexistent. When I need a refill on my prescription, the nurse is extremely rude and belittling. She has actualy has brought me to tears out of frustration. I'll call the pharmacy only to be told they have faxed the doctor over and over with no results. There are other GYNs. Not worth the frustration.

Love Dr. Crockett, I traveled from the Houston area to have my hysterectomy done by her. Great experience. I only took over the counter Tylenol and 600MG Ibuprofen for pain after surgery. Two days after surgery I felt good enough to go out to eat. I will continue driving from Houston to use her as my Gynecologist. I have seen many Gynecologist she is the only one I have confidence in. I highly recommend her. She is a great surgeon. I just wish she was closer to where I live.

I was impressed with the obvious accomplishments of Dr. Crockett and decided that now that I had moved to Texas and needed a new OBGYN, and wanted a female, that she fit the bill. I filled out my paperwork & arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early. However, after waiting 1 &1/2 hours with several patients still a head of me, I had to cancel to make it to a meeting. As a working woman, I can't afford to spend a half a day for an uncomplicated annual exam.

A front desk staff member can be a combination of unprofessional, rude, and sassy. This has had an effect on my perceptions of the practice, and whether or not I want to continue to see Dr. Crockett. Because of this and the wait times at the office, I would not recommend this practice to family and friends. Additionally, Dr. Crockett seems rushed in nearly all appointments I have had, which I am assuming is due to overbooking appointments and possibly accepting too many new patients.

I feel so thankful to have found Dr. Crockett. She is the first physician to actually listen to my concerns. She takes the time to fully explain what she needs to do to resolve my health issues. Dr. Crockett is a skilled surgeon. I've had two major robotic surgeries. She is a miracle worker, I had zero pain after either surgery. It's great to feel like myself again! Dr. Crockett has a calming demeanor and is very thorough. I have great confidence in her abilities. Her office staff is wonderful.

My ob/gyn doctor of over 30 years died, and I was very hesitant about going to a new one. Dr. Crockett was a great choice! Her professional demeanor put me right at ease, and I found it comfortable talking to her about personal issues. I was very anxious in the waiting room but I left feeling relaxed and well taken care of. My hair stylist in now going to her on my recommendation, and she loves her, too!

My gyno referred me to Dr. Crockett's office & spoke with the staff told them I was going in for a consultation for an eSure procedure (tubes tied) got an appointment for the same day. I arrived on time & filled out all the paper work. One of the assistants discussed what I was there for - told her specifically I was there & then waited an hour for the p.a. to see me & tell me they don't do that procedure...totally waste of time.
