Dr. Bhattacharjee saved me from a life of pain and disability. He was a young neurosurgeon when I met him 10 years ago. I had to have immediate L5 S1 lower back surgery for Caudia Equine Syndrome. A very serious condition! Thanks to his immediate surgery procedures and excellent followup office visits, I am able to walk, urinate, and have bowel movements without the complications I had experienced with my herniated disc. I haven't had any major issues in 10 years now. He is my hero ??

I initially saw Dr Bhatacharjee early 2000s before I went through with spinal surgery summer of 2016. Dr Bhatacharjee made me feel comfortable having him as my surgeon. However, like many Dr/patient relationships, Drs can learn some manners. My father had some questions after surgery but as soon as Dr Bhatacharjee seen him and heard I was doing fine, he quickly fled my hospital room. A nurse was left to try to explain the xrays and answer my dad's questions. Overall, my experience was ok.

Before seeing Dr. B I had the recommended MRI and two spinal injections. Problem was identified as pinched nerve. appointment with Dr. B was short and sweet. Not friendly and thought pain was in other leg (twice). Surgery decided. said not to expect them to called to schedule for 30 days. They never did call. Avoid this man and NS at all costs. Dr. B. Allowed me to suffer with severe nerve pain for almost four months before I first asked for then received a muscle relaxer which made pain bearab

Breezed in and out, didn't even examine me, talked at meant with me. Had no interest in talking about my spinal history. I provided detailed spine history on one page so it was easy to review. Apparently he did not and had no idea about my past surgical history. Told his staff, and him, I had recent surgery with remaining open wound so I could not have steroid injections for at least 6 mo. He disregard it, said I needed to do an epidural and left room without saying anything more.
