He completed his medical degree at New York Medical College in Vallhalla, New York. He attended University of Illinois College of Medicine and Metropolitan Group Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois for his internship and residency in General Surgery. He then went on to pursue his Fellowship training as a Surgical Oncologist at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He is one of the only Fellowship trained Surgical Oncologist in Tarrant County.
