Dr. Suhail Alam is a board certified ophthalmologist licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the state of Arizona. At age 19, Dr. Alam obtained his bachelor's degree with honors in Toledo, OH. He went on to complete medical school and residency training at the University of Cincinnati, where he consistently scored amongst the top residents in the nation. Following this, he decided to undertake further subspecialty training for vitreoretinal surgery at the University of California – Davis. Dr. Alam went on to take top marks on his board exams, scoring in the 99th percentile.

He specializes in medical and surgical care of the retina and vitreous. His interests include the latest treatments for macular degeneration, diabetes, and retinal detachment repair.
