In 2012 Dr. Alam performed Macular Pucker Peel surgery on my left eye. I see him at least once a year for followup. My most recent procedure was Argon Laser on the same eye to correct declining vision, followed by injections in the eye to reduce swelling and distortion. Dr. Alam is so very competent, gentle, explains what he is doing, and why. I feel very safe in his care. I’ve heard complaints about wait times at BDPEC, and it seems They have made strides to streamline the process. Considering that dilation, prep for scans, etc. take time, I am grateful to have such competent care. These are, after all, my eyes. I know what it feels like to not see clearly, and I know the staff works as quickly and efficiently as possible without compromising care. I highly recommend Dr. Alam.

The biggest issue I have with doctors is trust. I can pick on one hand all the doctors I can say I trusted to do what's best for me. I'm 62 and have seen many Dr's throughout my life and Dr Alam is one of the kindest and most thoughtful Doctors I've ever met. He had to work on my Retina eleven times and not once did I question his ability and expertise. Research him yourself. You will find him highly trained and experienced. He chose this profession as the best way to use his intelligence to help others. I'm grateful he did and thankful he has been in my life..
