Patient Comments (3)
Silver Spring, MD |
He is very combative and argumentative. Plus, he acted this way directly in front of my ailing mother which was stressful. He was arrogant but then asked me a question about my mom's treatment plan he should have already researched with his partners. And, when I asked if I could call my family to have him share his perspective he said "I don't like to repeat myself". Ultimately, I need his medical experience but cancer is so stressful that empathy and interpersonal skills are equally important

Have been a patient of Dr Selonick for more than 30 yrs, visiting him once a year. He is a brilliant Doctor who treated me for Hodgkins disease. Although the chemo was rough at the time, the results have been outstanding from 30 years ago.

Good oncologist/hematologist, as long as you are in critical need. Very tunnel visioned into his own specialty, and not much into listening and understanding the patient's needs and experiences. Condescending at times, frequently telling me about how smart he is. Front office staff can be rude and abrupt.
