I strive to provide quality care for members of the entire family. My staff and provider associates want every patient to feel special and cared for by everyone from the front office to the providers themselves. I understand that many people, when coming to a doctor, are sick or concerned about their health. I strive to provide an honest assessment with recommendations that will help each patient improve their health. My goal is that each patient have a positive experience when visiting the office so that when they leave they will know that we care about them and are doing everything we can to optimize their health.
I am board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics and hold a B.A. in History from the College of William and Mary, a M.Div. from the Princeton Theological Seminary, and a M.D. from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. I have been in private practice in Fort Worth since 2001, and since 2012 have led the development of an "extensivist clinic" called Health-e-Care, an innovative concept that brings enhanced services such as pharmacist consultation, social services, diabetes education, and advanced care planning into the primary care setting, especially for high-risk patients. Serving as its Medical Director, I specialize in managing the healthcare of patients with particularly complex conditions.
