Brooklyn College undergraduate, USC School of Medicine then pediatric internship, residency and Chief Residency at LA County-USC Medical Center. Then to Harvard, Boston Children's Hospital, Joslin Clinic and New England Deaconess Hospital for pediatric endocrinology and diabetes fellowship. Became Joslin Clinic's first staff pediatric and adolescent diabetologist and stayed there for 7 years before opening NEDEC, New England Diabetes and Endocrinology Center in Chestnut Hill. Moved to larger offices in Waltham. Involved with American Diabetes Association and served at local Massachusetts Affiliate on Board of Directors and chair of youth services committee, then President twice. Served as National Chairperson, Council on Diabetes in Youth for ADA, then ADA National Board of Directors, then on Annual Scientific Committee. Served as ISPAD Advisory Council, then Secretary-General for two terms, then President and Steering Committee member and then International Education Chairperson. Teach internationally about pediatric diabetes and endocrinology. Speak Spanish fluently. "

Been seeing Dr. Brink for over 35 years! He is by far the best doctor I have ever had, and I have had a lot of doctors. Caring, knowledgeable, never in a rush, I have total confidence in my care from Dr. Brink, and I am very grateful for all the years I have seen him.
