I adore Dr. Wittlin. He is the first Endocrinologist in 36+ years who makes me want to be a better diabetic. Not because I need to be, but because I want to be. I found him because of new technology in the diabetes field and I would never look back. I hope that he sticks around for a very long time, as I plan to! I love his bed side manner and his charm. He has great stories and I love musicals and he's a musical buff. He calls me when another doctor would probably send a my chart message. He's extremely responsive and cares about his patients, we aren't numbers to him. He calls a day after a procedure to make sure everything is ok. You are blessed if you get Dr. Wittlin assigned to your case, honestly.

I think he needs to retire. He would rather dismiss you than try to help you... 37 years is long enough.

My daughter has been his pt for 24 yrs, and now I am as well. Through these yrs, Dr Wittlin has always been there for us. We both have learned so much from him. The gentle manner in which he practices makes you very much at ease, however, he will tell it like it is in a way that the pt will easily understand. He's passionate about his field, which shows in everything he does. I have referred several patients to him with never a complaint! The absolute best doctor I've ever known!

he is very knowledgeable and engaged with his patients. his sense of humor is a bit odd, but it's charming. at our first appointment, he spent 1.5 hours with me going over all my lab results and symptoms one by one. he listened, saw my physical symptoms and high lab results for what they were, and is working with me on a diagnosis for a complex endocrine issue that has otherwise eluded several other doctors.

Several years ago I was sent to Dr. Wittlin by my PCP to check on a node on my thyroid. He said I needed a "test" and that someone would contact me. A follow up appointment was scheduled. I never received a call for that test but went back for the follow up. He questioned me about the test and then abruptly said to just have the thyroid removed! Had my PCP schedule a 2nd opinion with a REAL test. Proved negative. I WOULDN'T LET THIS BOZO WORK ON MY PETS LET ALONE ME OR MY FAMILY!

Being diabetic for 50+ years, I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Wittlin as my endocrinologist for over 15 years. My previous doctor retired and I spent several years, searching for a suitable replacement. When I first met Dr. Wittlin, he offered his hand and stated, We are in this together. He will answer all my questions, and do it so that I understand what he is telling me. He has a complete staff including Nurse Practitioners and Dieticians.
