I had my first appointment with Dr. Sugarman yesterday and I am so relieved to be in his care. It struck me how thorough he was with gathering the details of medical history. At no time during the appointment did I feel rushed. He answered my questions and then made recommendations. He listened to my concerns and then he offered a plan which was a great relief to me. Dr. Sugarman is kind and sensitive. My husband and I got the impression that he cares about his patients and we feel fortunate.

He has helped me through breast cancer 2x now, These were 2 different cancers. 5 years after my first cancer he said "ok I am releasing you from my care and you should now follow up with..." I was devastated, I remember thinking how will I know if I'm ok, how will anyone else know how to answer all of my questions. He assured me that he hopes I never need to see him again but if I do he will be there and he was, giving me the same confidence as the first time. I am forever grateful Dr. Sugarman.

Dr Sugarman is an old school doctor. He will be sure that you know all of the facts, and, after that, answer any and all questions you may have, no matter how trivial. He then makes the recommendation he thinks is best for you, explaining why. If you encounter any problems with the treatment or have any questions later on, his nurse will call you right away. i appreciate being treated as an intelligent human being, his promptness and is professionalism.
