Thankfully this doctor seems to really care...I saw a surgeon from a Crystal Run who was awful, 4 months later am having worsening debilitating pain in my back .I paid a visit to Dr Jacobs today and am so glad finally being listened to -he ordered an MRI right away. When he entered the room I said” please help me”.. He said he will and his staff was just as kind as he was. Hopefully I will be pain free soon, I have full confidence in him .

Dr. Jacobs is an amazing Neuro Surgeon. I would highly recommend him and Physician Assistant, Nelly, to any in need of neurosurgery. The professionalism and caring is up the outmost. After the surgery I felt really good. The recovery has been very speedy and the scar is unnoticeable. So all in all, the whole experience at New York Neurosurgical has been very impressive.

I will most definitely recommend anyone experiencing chronic back pain with the need for surgery to Dr. Jacobs. After months of living with daily pain Dr. Jacobs performed the surgery necessary to remove a tumor that had entangled itself amongst the nerve endings at the base of my spine; within two months after the surgery I was back to life without pain and with minimal scarring.

My experience with Dr. Jacobs has been very positive. I felt that he did a wonderful job with my neck. I was having ridiculous headaches to the point I couldn't function but since the surgery they have almost resolved completely. I appreciate the staff and Dr. Jacobs, he is the man.

I had so much pain in my back and leg that I couldn't stand straight for some weeks. But after my operation I was instantly relieved of all pain. And on top of that, the entire staff was very nice and more than helpful with any questions or concerns I had. I would highly recommend Dr. Jacobs and all of his associates.

Dr.Jacobs and Nelly his PA are wonderful! In December when I first came in after an auto accident I was in a ton of pain. I had surgery on my neck in January. I was pain free almost immediately after! I also had to have surgery on my back. It was done 2 weeks ago and the numbing down my leg and pain are gone. No joke his hands are magic! The best thing I ever did!

In all my experiences with many different practices they were unable to detect the issues related to my neck pain. After 2 years of suffering Dr. Jacobs performed the surgery to remove the herniated disc in my neck and now I feel amazing. I am so grateful. He was a real lifesaver for me!! I am 50 but I feel like 20!

I saw the doctor for literally 3 mins and he may have been competent. The PA who does the bulk of the examining however is not. "That back brace looks soooooo good on you". Direct quote. Thanks for your years of medical expertise. This was what ended a visit that started with a terrible symptom evaluation (I was going for a second opinion so I've been through appropriate evals). Really disappointed in the level of professionalism.

Needed surgical 2nd opinion. After redundant questions by an unimaginative assistant, Jacobs sauntered in clearly annoyed. Now, I'd stated weeks ago that this was a 2nd opinion. When I repeated so to him, his demeanor transformed. My wife and I were amazed -he just wanted to end the session. Sure do it, tell Dr. xxx I said hello. Then he stood and walked out, followed by assistant, nary a word. No big bucks from this patient? Take a hike pal. At least it's how felt to us.
