I was experiencing severe elbow pain and was hoping to possibly get a cortisone shot being the least expensive trial solution. I explained this to Dr. Huish. After an in house X-rays Dr. Huish saw something in the X-ray but then recommend an MRI. I was against it but consented to having this done. After the MRI Dr Huish decided to just give the cortisone shot. He even mentioned that was why I was originally there. Long story short, the Cortisone shot did not work so I went back. This time another out of office procedure using ultrasound was recommended. By this time I was very dissatisfied at the lack of diagnosis. So now the medical bills are piling up and still no answer to the pain I’m still experiencing.

I went to Dr. Huish with an elbow injury. He was very rude and uncaring, horrible bedside manner. He made fun of my “fat” arm and pinched it, to the point I was so embarrassed I cried. I spent thousands of dollars on injections and painful tests that he talked me into that never worked. I would never recommend him to anyone.

I just tapped one star to get y’all’s attention. STEVER IS THE BEST! All you “one-starERs” need to calm down. Also this man healed my father’s shoulder and is the reason I met my best friend. Beat that. Also he can make Swedish pancakes with this surgical hands. Huhza

I saw Dr. Huish on several occasions for nerve entrapment. Neither time I saw him did he actually do a physical exam on my arm (didn't even touch it). Then I expressed concern regarding a test he wanted and he left me either the option of doing a test I was not comfortable with or not doing the test and not getting help from him. Both appointments lasted less than 5 minutes. Find someone else.

Extremely negative experience. There is no meaningful communication between the PA and the doctor. The seems PA to have next to no medical background. Dr. Huish makes no time for the patient and does not communicate with the patient. He doesn't respect other people's time. The secretary is unhelpful with regard to making appointments. I'm sure Dr. Huish is experienced and knows what he's doing, but the customer service side of the business leaves a lot to be desired.

I had a wrist/elbow “sprain” as diagnosed from instacare, was still having problems a month later. Dr. Huish took new X-rays and easily diagnosed my problem as a fracture in my elbow. I felt like he was thorough, competent, and did a good job. I would definitely see him again and would recommend him.

In 2013 took my son to Dr. Huish with a elbow injury. After reviewing an x-ray, told us (with son present) his injury was a “career ending”(he plays baseball) & needed surgery. My son was devastated. He wanted to schedule surgery in 2 wks, however we got a 2nd opinion at Primary, who recommended PT before going to surgery, thank goodness. W/O having surgery, my son played HS baseball & still playing in college. Hopefully he’s improved his personnel skills & get 2nd opinion w/ aggressive surgeon

He is carpal Tunnel surgery on me, and Thumb Joint Replacement. He resected the Trapizium in my wrist and was to do a tendon transfer from my arm to fill in that hollow space where the Trapizium used to be. Then that tendon was to harden and also scar tissue was to build up and stabilize my wrist. Well Huish DID NOT do the tendon transfer so now my whole wrist has collapsed, and my dominate hand will be crippled for the REST OF MY LIFE. More surgery needed now. Awful Doctor.

Dr. Huish had me come into his office twice. He referred me to have an EMG prior to any physical exam. The referall paperwork for the EMG was out of date and I had to find someone on my own to get an EMG. When I returned with my EMG, I waited for over 30 minutes while I could hear him talking to another patient in the next room about basketball. He came into my room, took one look at the result, did NO diagnostic exams no physical exam and told me I had ALS. How can you diagnose w/o exam?

Worst Dr I have ever seen. Instead of fixing my shoulder he made it worse. I had a torn rotater cuff. I still have a torn rotater cuff. He had told me before surgery he would repair while in surgery. He also decided instead of repairing my tendon he just cut it away and left it hanging in my arm. I had no idea there was even a problem with me tendon had he told me he was going to just cut it away I would have went to my brothers DR. I now have worse issues now than before I had the surgery..

The man has no bedside manner. I saw his PA more than I saw him. He finally told me I must have fibromyalgia with no diagnostic testimg because he didn't know what to do for me. I wish I hadnt wasted my time seeing him. He does have excellent staff who were very helpful.
