This content was provided by Dr. Gitelis You have to approach every patient in a unique way, and that's the reason for the multispecialty tumor board where you can have many physicians look at the patient and what is the best treatment plan. So there's 20 or 30 doctors that are involved, ultimately, in the care of these patients. The first thing I do for them is see them immediately. They've been told they have a problem, typically a tumor or a cancer, and that raises a lot of anxiety. And the best thing I can do for them is see them immediately and get the ball rolling. Evaluate them and get their treatment underway as soon as possible.
