I take enormous pride in caring for people, fully appreciating the uniqueness and intimacy of a physician-patient relationship. My practice is busy, averaging 100 patients seen weekly, all of whom I strive to fully listen to and give the highest quality of care to; as such I fall behind sometimes which is one of several reasons I offer my email address to all patients, hoping that with this level of...

He's a professional, organized, great urologist. He's a pro at the standard procedures and he takes time to personally consult and give the various options. He's also fun and friendly. I couldn't be happier.

A very rude and person who is nice one visit and throwing things at me the next. He is all nice the last time I saw him since it appears he is tied to the UROLIFT surgery. He recently had his hair died and he just is a bad doctor. It is clear if you see him several times. He is focused on one thing and that is $$$$$$$
in salt lake city, UT |
A loser. Please he pushes this UROLIFT but he is in it for his gain. I tried to look elsewhere and this person stopped that appt. sounds sad but true
in salt lake city, UT |
Look elsewhere. This guy is a macho man who should have selected another profession. He took the cysto catheter and pulled it out if me and threw it on me with the fluid and blood all over me. He left and said I will talk to you when you get dressed. I'm like what , sir you just threw this Cather on me with my urine. Don't you have and decent skills?
in salt lake city, UT |
Wow this guy has issues. I would look elsewhere if you can. Has pride and macho issues. Focused on one thing-$$$
in Roosevelt, UT |
I was not Impressed. He wanted to do surgery when it wasn't even necessary. I felt that he wasn't even aggressive with the health plans that we made. It was always a really quick apt. and I didn't understand a lot he told me. I wouldn't recommend him. and the staff was very rude but they did get back to you in a timely manner. when I called to try and get in with an active stone they told me he couldn't help me and to go to the ER I thought that is why you have this kind of Dr.

I performed the first UroLift implant for BPH in North America in February 2011, and the first in the world under local anesthesia. As a clinical investigator I have co-authored numerous papers and presenting research findings at national meetings. Additionally, as an inaugural member of the UroLift Faculty I regularly travel across the country teaching UroLift to my urologist peers, and often supervise and proctor their first UroLift procedures. This has been unimaginably gratifying, since incorporating UroLift changes urology practices and most importantly changes men's lives (with truly minimal risk, and no sexual side effects). In my practice we have continued to provide UroLift under local anesthesia, and have done more UroLift in that setting than anyone in the world. All that said, not every man suffers from BPH and not all BPH-sufferers need UroLift. UroLift is one of many special areas of expertise I offer, but obviously only to those who I believe will benefit.

I am highly current, spending a lot of time teaching my urologist peers, and always provide highly skilled and state-of-the-art care. While I strive to communicate clearly and compassionately with all patients, I simply cannot make everyone happy. I always appreciate the many positive reviews, while I find negative ones extremely painful (but a part of life I guess). Meanwhile, if someone has a complaint I am very easy to reach directly, and wouldn't that be more productive?
