To the point but takes the time to talk and answer questions. After several emergency surgeries by another doctor, he probably saved my life by getting the water that stayed after the surgery out of my body so I could breath and move.

I went to Dr. Eisenberg after another cardiologist gave me what I thought was a faulty diagnosis (delivered callously and hastily). Realizing how upset I was, the receptionist gave an appointment for the next morning. Dr. Eisenberg reviewed my previous test results. talked to me, and had me return next day for a nuclear stress test. Bottom line: CARING doctor. ACCURATE diagnosis. GREAT staff. SUPERIOR diagnostic equipment. HAPPY patient. If you need a cardiologist, see Dr. Eisenberg.

I make my father, who lives in Alabama, drive here for the excellent care. Dr.Eisenberg gives excellent well thought out advice and left a group that sold out to a big corporate entity in order to continue personalized service.

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

Dr. Eisenberg says...

Dear Valued Patient:

I am pleased to announce the opening of my new practice effective as of Monday, March 3,2014.

After long and careful consideration, I decided to leave Emory Cardiovascular Specialists to return to private practice so that I can provide a more personalized style of care for my patients.  I remain on the staff at Saint Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta and will continue my role as the hospital's Chief of Cardiology.

My new office is equipped to provide my patients with all of the usual cardio-diagnostic services (EKG's, stress tests, holter monitors, nuclear imaging, etc) needed to effectively manage your cardiovascular health.  However, unlike the same services provided through the hospital, these office-based services are not subject to the much higher co-insurance and deductible requirements typical of most hospital-based services.  In that regard, part of the reason I chose to return to private practice is to help my patients reduce the cost of their health care.
