Went to Dr. Cohen to address a shoulder issue. He spent very little time with us and kept insisting nothing was wrong. The pain never went away so I got a second opinion. Turns out it was a torn bicep tendon. He said he "read" the MRI but I highly doubt it. Would never go back to or ever recommend anyone to him for any type of injury.

Dr. Cohen explained the seriousness of my arthritis in a way that helped me understand that it was worse than I had previously thought. With this knowledge, I will be better able to modify my workouts so that my knee isn't risking further damage.

Dr. Cohen was accessible and friendly. He was very knowledgable about the problem I was having with my knee. He explained all of the options clearly and was very attentive to my needs. He did surgery on my knee and the outcome was excellent. I would highly recommend him. His office location in Media, PA was convenient and the surgery was done at the surgery center in the same building as his office. The office staff were very friendly, welcoming and very professional.

I met with Dr. Cohen to address my torn bicep issue. He was warm, empathic and knowledgeable. This was important coming off a bad experience at Premiere Orthopedics in Media. Dr. Cohen took the time to hear and address my concerns. He walked me through the whole process from consultation to surgery and through recovery. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.
in Philadelphia, PA |
Very professional and answered all of my questions and gave me both the pros and cons of the surgery.
in Media, PA |

in Brookhaven, PA |
Been coaching softball for over 20+ years and hurt my right shoulder. Went to Rothman and met with Dr. Cohen. This was the best experience dealing with a shoulder/sports medicine doctor in my life. Great knowledge, made me feel very comfortable and knows his business. Couldn't have asked for a better doctor and highly recommend him for anyone with any sports injury.

Philadelphia, PA |
Very attentive. Took time to explain everything to me. I am so glad dr. Cohen talked me into going for physical therapy. He is very professional.
in Media, PA |
I had 2 major tears and bone damage in rotator cuff from a fall my entire left arm was just about useless before surgery it would dislocate with any movement at all, now after arthroscopic repair surgery a few months and rehab it is almost as good as new. From reading of similar injuries to mine it was very likely I would need a new shoulder yet Dr. Cohen was able to repair existing fine.
in Aston, PA |
Dr. Cohen was fantastic. He repaired my torn rotator cuff. The surgery was breeze and my recovery was done two months earlier than expected. i would recommend Dr. Cohen and all the staff at Rothman
in Turnersville, NJ |
Two kids, two different injuries, two distinct surgeries? One team, one doctor, one choice?Rothman. As a mom of three very active kids, injuries are expected. However, when you hear that it?s the knee. You panic. What will that mean? Surgery? Recovery? Who? Dr. Cohen was professional and knowledgeable. He answered questions and outlined options and recovery timelines.
in North Wales, PA |
I went to Dr, Cohen back in 2009 when I feel and tore my rotor cuff, I was more then pleased with the surgery and the outcome. It was a very long recovery with a lot of therapy that I also did at the Rothman Institute, I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone who would need that surgery, he was very caring and concerned.
